Florida Governor Charlie Crist Celebrates Global Trade with the AWWT Bus Tour

Florida Governor Charlie Crist, along with members of Florida’s Chamber of Commerce, met the CEA “America Wins with Trade” bus as it rolled into Tallahassee. Governor Crist, just back from a successful state economic development trip to Europe, which generated nearly $75 million in trade and investment for the state of Florida, talked about the importance of trade and why every Floridian benefits from global economic engagement and opportunity.

Today’s event was hosted by the Florida Chamber of Commerce and Chamber President and CEO Mark Wilson thanked the Governor for his leadership and foresight in pursuing economic opportunity for the people of Florida. The gathering was well covered by the local media.
Allowed onto the Florida State House grounds, the CEA Trade Bus looked fantastic in front of the historic State House.
No Spanish moss growing on this bus though – more states to visit. I had a blast on the tour and the CEA campaign for trade and opportunity heads to Alabama.
