Boxee Wins iStage Innovation Contest
October 21, 2008 |Yeah, I’m still back at the office holding down the fort and missing all the Forum excitement in Las Vegas but I am enjoying regular updates via e-mail, podcast, and Twitter.
Nothing compares to the thrill of winning – unless it’s a huge check and a free booth at CES!
Today it was announced that Boxee won first prize in the iStage technology contest for their innovative “social” media center. Boxee’s device allows users to share personal videos, music, photos and content from websites. Their prize is $50,000 plus a booth at the 2009 International CES. So if you missed them at the Forum, you can check out their products at their booth in January.
