Part of the “What I Love About Imaging” Series
By Colleen Lerro
Joellyn Gray, director of marketing for Fujifilm, is relatively new to the imaging industry, and considers herself more of a professional marketer with more than 25 years experience in marketing across several industries. While each had their own interesting business challenges, she finds imaging to be the most satisfying even though it may face the most challenges.
There have been enormous changes in consumer behavior as imaging has transitioned to digital, forcing companies to adapt or fall behind. Despite …

Entrepreneurs Spotlight – The Face of Innovation
By Grace Ellis
For those who love their gadgets and the great outdoors, it is a constant struggle. How can I enjoy my electronics while being physical active? A story my friend told me comes to my mind where he recounts how he accidentally dropped his Mp3 player while hiking up the Great Wall of China. I’ve always said that my favorite part about CES is the opportunity to meet some of my internet heroes! There are always standard celebrities at the show, but they just don’t excite me. I have been watching/reading/following a core group of people online for 10+ years. These people are more than just internet “celebrities” to me, because I’ve been following them for so long, that I feel like I know them. The nature of following someone’s career “online” is inherently different than traditional celebrities because of …

A few weeks ago, the 2011 International CES hosted its first annual Sports & Fitness Tech Conference. Sponsored by Living in Digital Times, it took a hard look at the childhood obesity epidemic and how technology can be part of the solution.
A panel called, “A Wake Up Call for the ‘Youth Movement’ Get Your Tech On!” focused on fighting childhood obesity, learning to integrate physical fitness with technology and teaching kids that fitness and nutrition are not only an essential part of their daily life, but can …
